I was looking for a phrase I thought was uttered by sociologist Sherry Turkle: about how we’re abandoning genuine human interactions for crappy synthetic ones.
Oh, here it is! “People were trading something they didn’t fully understand for something they hadn’t fully measured” — except a robot made that up.12
